TOKYO: Heavy snowfall in large parts of Japan led to hundreds of flight cancellations and miles of traffic jams on Wednesday, local media reported.
Domestic airlines, including ANA and Japan Airlines, have canceled more than 300 flights, while bullet train services in northern Japan were suspended or delayed, the media reported.
On a highway in central Japan, cars and trucks could not move in the snow for about 10 km, public broadcaster NHK said.
