Imran Khan to return to political scene in 2 to 3 days – Times of India

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan to return to political scene in two to three days, party leader Hammad Azhar said.
Speaking to media officials at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore, where Imran is being treated for the leg injury, Azhar said the party would continue its peaceful protest against the “attempted assassination” of Imran Khan.
The former Prime Minister of Pakistan was injured in his leg on Thursday as he led the anti-government march to Islamabad, Geo TV reported.
The family of Moazzam Gondal, the boy who lost his life in the attack on Imran Khan, will receive a total of Rs 15 million, Azhar claimed, adding that the party will bear all the costs of Moazzam’s children.
Hammad Azhar said that the PTI has given Rs 5 million to the children of Moazzam and that the government of the Punjab province will also give another Rs 5 million to the bereaved in a day or two.
In a televised address from the hospital, Imran had claimed: “Three people – including… Rana SanaullahShehbaz Sharif, and an army major – made a plan to kill me after they saw the number of people in my long march increasing exponentially.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the relevant authorities to take action against Imran Khan and his associates for leveling charges against the armed forces.
