BRASÍLIA — A senior judge of Brazil’s Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the arrest of two security officials in the capital, two days after supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro stormed the country’s congress, presidential palace and supreme court.
Justice Alexandre de Moraes approved arrest warrants for Anderson Torres, the secretary of public security for the Federal District of Brasília, and Colonel Fábio Augusto, commander of the district’s military police, according to a court official who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized were to speak publicly about the matter.
