MOGADISHU, Somalia – A bomb attack by Somali Islamist extremist rebels hit a popular seaside restaurant in the Somali capital Mogadishu, killing at least six people, ambulance services say.
The explosion was detonated by a suicide bomber who was denied entry to the restaurant where the Somali Police Commissioner and several lawmakers were dining, Somali police spokesman Major Abdifatah Aden Hassan announced at a news conference Saturday.
