U.S. buyers are spending less this holiday season, but Amazon still stands to gain, says Goldman Sachs

Nearly three-quarters of US shoppers plan to spend less or the same as last year this holiday season amid mounting economic uncertainty, according to a new consumer survey from Goldman Sachs. And club holding Amazon (AMZN), a leading retailer for holiday sales and promotions, should be a top destination for US bargain hunters.
